Antarctica 2-12-22

Skontorp Cove , Paradise Island is 2 miles south-east of Bryde Island along the west coast of Graham Land.
It was a beautiful sunny day and I got to enjoy it Kayaking through brash ice , growlers and bergy bit ice.   Brash ice is like slushy type ice.   Growlers are small chunks of floating ice that are  up to 3 feet out of water.  Bergy bits are  small icebergs that are 3-13 feet out of the water.

Me in front and Terri in back.

We paddled around beautiful icebergs!

This was the best kayaking day this trip.

Humpback Whale on zodiac back to ship after kayaking!!

Talk about a perfect ending of a perfect day!!

Some amazing views from my balcony
